Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe Double takes everything guests love about our Standard rooms and gives it room to breathe. Beyond the carved four-poster bed, a separate sitting nook — a hand-carved cane armchair and bench — turns the room into a proper retreat, not just a place to sleep. Many of our Deluxe rooms sit along the upper garden corridor directly above the channel, with a wide, uninterrupted view out toward Wasini Island.

It's the same coastal craftsmanship throughout — coral-stone walls, dark timber beams, a rain-shower ensuite screened by a traditional glass-block wall — with the extra space that makes a longer stay, or a bit more time getting ready before dinner, feel easy rather than cramped.

Why guests choose the Deluxe Double
If you want a little more room to spread out — books on the armchair, wetsuits drying after a morning at Kisite-Mpunguti, a proper spot to sit with a coffee rather than perch on the bed — the Deluxe Double gives you that without the extra cost of a suite. It's an easy upgrade for couples spending a few extra nights, or anyone who wants the same clifftop view with a bit more space to enjoy it.
